ReOptica Consignment Agreement

1. Rejected frames

Rejected frames are donated to the Lyons Club. These frames will not be sent back to you. By accepting this agreement, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the “Our Brands” page on ReOptica’s website to understand which brands we typically accept. ReOptica may accept frames not listed, but frames listed as preferred brands are more likely to be accepted. We DO NOT accept frames from major retailers like Costco, Walmart, and Zenni optical.

2. Consignment

By choosing to consign your eyeglass frame, you authorize ReOptica to act as your agent for the purpose of selling that item. You agree that ReOptica will manage the sale, including evaluating the item, setting its initial price based on its market value, and adjusting the price over time to promote a successful sale.

3. Condition

​

You agree to send frames that are in acceptable, usable condition for resell. Frames will be priced according to their condition. Broken, severely damaged, or inoperable frames will be disposed of..

4. Efforts to sell

Unless we have agreed in writing to a specific selling price for a particular item, we may set the initial selling price at our discretion based on our evaluation of the frame and the current resale market. Any manufacturer’s suggested retail price referenced on our website is for informational purposes only.

ReOptica may offer discounts or promotions on your item during sales events or marketing efforts without notice to you.

This consignment and sales agreement (the “agreement”) is a contract between you (“you” or “your”) and ReOptica and its affiliates (“ReOptica,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read this agreement carefully.

This agreement requires the use of arbitration on an individual basis to resolve disputes, rather than jury trials, court proceedings, or class actions.

To consign or sell goods on ReOptica’s marketplace, you must agree to this agreement. By clicking “agree,” you confirm that you have read, understand, and accept all terms.

Once accepted, this agreement remains in effect and governs all transactions between you and ReOptica until terminated by either party.
